Church Drive PE and Sport Premium Allocation & Impact 2017-2018
What is PE Premium?
The Primary PE and Sport Premium was launched by the government in April 2013. Schools are allocated ring-fenced sum of money to support all children and improve the quantity, quality and breadth of PE and sport provision.
The allocation is calculated according to the intake of the school, and the school must decide how best to use the money to improve PE and sport provision, including increased participation in PE and sport so that all pupils develop healthy lifestyles and reach the performance levels they are capable of.
The national vision is for: “All pupils leaving primary school [to be] physically literate and with the knowledge, skills and motivation necessary to equip them for a healthy lifestyle and lifelong participation in physical activity and sport.”
Church Drive’s PE and Sport Funding for 2017 - 2018 is £18,530 based on our having 255 pupils in the school.
