Primary Schools Admissions Timetable for September 2020 Admissions


Literature and application forms will be available from the Council, from schools and other outlets. The online application system goes live.

15 January 2020

This is the last day that applications will be accepted by the Council and not treated as late.

February 2020

Information about preferences will be sent to voluntary aided and academy schools for consideration.

Voluntary aided and academy schools will provide the Council with their ranked applications.

28 February 2020

Last date for verified changes of home address to be taken into account.

March 2020

Neighbouring authorities will share information and their offers.

16 April 2020

Offer letters and emails (online applicants only) for all schools’ Foundation 2 places will be sent by the Council.

May 2020

Late applications will then be considered.

May to July 2020

Appeals to be heard and decided.

September 2020

Children begin school in Foundation 2.
